Drug Interactions:Capsules can cause or reduce the effectiveness of pain relievers. Some NSAIDs may increase the risk of bleeding or other gastrointestinal side effects.
Tell a doctor before taking or consuming this drug if you have liver disease, kidney disease, asthma, diabetes, glaucoma, allergies, or a history of these or other drug reactions. Tell a doctor if you are using the NSAIDs or are taking other drugs that can increase the risk of bleeding, including NSAIDs. This drug may cause a serious interaction with the following drugs: ACE inhibitors (eg, benazepril, lisinopril), ARBs (eg, eplerenone), diclofenac (eg, diclofenac sodium), drugs for high blood pressure (eg, candesartan), drugs for hypertension (eg, amlodipine, diltiazem), dronedarone, aldosterone antagonists (eg, enoxaparin), angiotensin receptor blockers (eg, irbesartan), cyproterine acetaminophen (eg, Tylenol 2.2 mg, penthousepril (E15,21 mg, once a day) for angina, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors (eg, famotidine, ketoconazole), diuretics (eg, furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide), or medications that are used to treat epilepsy (eg, bupropion), cisapride, fentanyl, oxcarbazepine, metronidazole, milnacipran, procainamide, quinidine, or sotalol), or pimozide.

Celebrex is a prescription medication used to treat pain and inflammation. It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, substances involved in the inflammation process, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandinomas, and thereby relieving pain and inflammation.
This medication belongs to a class of drugs called COX-2 inhibitors. Celebrex is supplied as 100mg capsules containing 50mg of Celecoxib, which are filled with a liquid medicine and are opened and sprinkled onto a flatbed spoon.
